Treatment for Mild OSA

Treatment for Mild OSA

This is very much as per treatment for snoring. However, there are some individuals in whom even mild OSA can result in increased daytime sleepiness. If this is significant and to an extent that it is necessary to advise the individual to stop driving or working (if they are in a vigilance critical job or using hazardous machinery) then it may be necessary to consider CPAP (Continuous Positive Airways Pressure) therapy. This is described in the next section.
